  1. Anyone have any insight about these two timelines in prophecy? I have heard several teachers with the 2016-17 (Rob Moore, Boaz, DanielsTimeline) and the 2029 timeline (Joe Dumond, Hezekiah). They both have their well laid out points backing it with Scripture. I'd like to know if anyone can shed any spiritual light on these two timelines.

    Thank you.

  2. Shalom bilby123,

Are these available online? I'm having trouble finding anything and wondered if you could provide links.

    Thanks.

    Update: I did find http://www.danielstimeline.com

  3. Kate, Joe Dumond has a Facebook group called The Chronological Order of Prophecy and The Prophecies of Abraham that may interest you.

  4. Ha...turns out I'm "friends" with Joseph Dumond...who'd a thunk it...

Oh, you have to "ask to join" the group...hmmm...

  5. Joe has a website named sightedmoon.com. Both Hezekiah and Joe are infrequent guests on t2tn.com. Torah2TheNations.com is the website as t2tn. I have listened to this same proposal for the last 2 years or so,but I admit that I'm not totally getting the full significance of the Jubilee chronology of dating. I'm not saying that their views are incorrect, but I've often wondered if someone who is Karaite has their views rooted in doctrine that's of "the traditions of men" similiar to the Pharasies or Sadduces of Yeshua's time on earth. I do know that Yah expects that we be able to interpret the times and seasons, but the exact day is reserved only for Him to know. That said,we have to be in a constant state of prepardness. For me,putting stock into a 2029 or so timeline is dropping my guard and feeling like I've got time which I may not actually have. I don't want to become a foolish virgin who misses out on the call to the wedding because I'm unprepared and lacking oil that I should have purchased a long time ago. I'm not saying that Joe or Hezekiah are out to deceive people. It would be great if I could find some Renewed Testament verses where Yeshua was speaking either directly or encrypted/encoded of the chronology of the Jubilee cycles. Maybe He did,and I just don't understand enough Torah to get it.Thoughts anyone?

  6. I agree daughterofYHVH that we should all just be prepared in season and out of season. I havent read the work of Hezekia or Joe, but I was studying in the book of Numbers chapter 4 where it talks about the priests could only serve in the tabernacle from the ages of 30 to 50. That is 20 years of service as priest. If Yeshua died around 30ad and the 20 years is likened unto 2000, then he would only be "eligible" to serve as priest until 2030. Of course those are Levitical priesthood rules rather than Melchizedek so it may be a mute point, but I thought it was something to chew on :).

  7. I find the pinning down of this date to be a non-issue. Truth is, any and every day can be the last one for us, we don't know how and when we're going to die, our next waking moment will be (hopefully) rising up in the air to meet the King of kings.

We are admonished to run the race Heb12:1. I remember in school being told to run my hardest when I saw the finish line; I have a hunch that if we knew the "finish line" wasn't until 2026 some of us might drop into a more leisurely jog or walk... :)

If studying for the timeline enhances your relationship with YHVH, by all means go for it. I would just caution that the weightier matters of the law not be overlooked!

Yehoshua said during His ministry on earth some 2000 years ago "The time has come to an end, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

Paul reitereated years later "Rom 13:11 Know this also, that now is the time and the hour that we should awake from our sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed. Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light."

I don't believe, in light of the verses above, that Yehoshua would have revealed the year of His return. If people had known back then it was going to be some 2000 years later, can you imagine what would have been the resulting attitude? Revelation 22 (6 and 7) place the time frame as soon. Daniel is told to seal up the book until 'the time'.

We should live every day as if it were our last, Yehoshua is never further away than the life span of each person. As to His return, we'll have a much clearer picture once the abomination of desolation is set up!

    Just my 2 cents. :)

  8. All, I have listened to Joe Dumond's teaching on the Jubilee cycle just this week. He has some interesting points, but it reminded me that the approach we take with understanding the patterns of scripture are important. I'm not saying he's wrong with his approach, but I'm not saying he's right, either. I have a lot to learn about the jubilee cycle.

But when we start with a framework, we can see the scriptures to fit that framework. Think of the Bible code or what some call "equidistant letter sequencing" and what that reveals. Some of it sounds really cool. And some of it is completely idiotic. Is our Father idiotic? Methinks not.

Teresa hints at the purpose of prophecy, and I agree with her. To me, the whole point of studying prophecy is not to necessarily predict the future, though there are certainly those who are tempted to name dates and proclaim “God’s hand will move” on such and such a date. But how many have had “egg on the face” when the date passed and no such thing happened?

It seems that date-setters miss the point of studying prophecy, which is this: to prepare your heart for the return of our Messiah. It is to repent of active sin, it is to ask our Father to reveal to you any deception you may have fallen into in any area that you might be free of offense. I study prophecy so I can see if I am measuring up to the standard I think has been laid out for me, and to help me prepare myself for the “wedding day” with our Messiah.

Figuring out patterns is cool. But not all patterns reveal the truth. There are counterfeits we have to contend with.

  9. I can't seem to locate Joe's teaching on this. Could someone provide a link? I've tried searching sightedmoon.com and the FB group, but I don't see anything about this. How is it I can find obscure things I'm not looking for, but this eludes me? Grrr...

  10. This is the link for the video "Chronological Order Of Prophecies In The Jubilees".

  11. Thanks Woody. I also found it in 10-minute segments (my computer and 2-hour videos don't get along) and I'm working on watching it.

  12. Okay, I've watched it and I'm probably going to watch it again as I'm not so sure about his math.

One thing that jumped out during this viewing was the astronomy stuff. I have a program that allows me to change the dates and such. I went to Sep. 11, 3 AD and did not find the moon at Andromeda's feet. Andromeda was in the east. I came back to current time and found the same. I went through several years and found that Andromeda is in the West in April, not September. In April, when Andromeda is in the West, Pices and Perseus can indeed be found in the East--with Virgo.

Does anyone know where to find Bob Wadsworth teaching?

  13. The website http://www.theopenscroll.com is where I find his studies. There's a second website,www.biblicalastronomy.com that's also got alot of in depth studies on it too. Both sites have years worth of archives you can use to compare and/or contrast astronomical info from other sites. Hope that these websites help you find what you're looking for.

  14. Shalom All

My understanding is the Yovels/Jubilees are accurate as such. Yahshuah said if those days were not shortened, none would live to the end. Therefore, my money is on Daniels Timeline because of the starting date being "when the people was made a nation" November 1947. Both are right, but one is more right, if you get my drift. Besides, the revelation I had last year also points to 2016 as the end, with this year (hopefully) answering Revelation 3:7-10. (see my "Revelation to Share" on this forum for more info.) I guess some of us will find out by April 7.

    Love and Blessings

  15. I found this article interesting regarding Jubilees..it also ties in with 2016

  16. On Joe's timeline, I don't know Joe, nor that familiar with his teachings, but I have friends who really like him and are personal friends of his, so I'll just share my issues on it...

Joe and I bumped heads years ago (I forget when, maybe 2007) on another forum when he posted a direct warning to everyone that if they did not keep that coming years land sabbath that YHWH would KILL OUR CHILDREN with diseases and plagues, and that land sabbath was going to usher in widespread famine in the world...

I vehemently disagreed, especially on YHWH killing our children, and much textual headbutting resulted, but what he said would come about from his calculations DID NOT happen, so I take Joe's stuff at a somewhat distance... I hope SOMEONE is right, as I was disappointed in how Michael Rood's Jonah Code fizzled out, so I place Joe's studies on the "Let's see how it pans out" shelf...

I guess I am now disillusioned on the whole timeline guessing game... I cannot speak for any other theories...

    Robert

  17. wow, when I see comments like that, (about the children)my initial reaction is to back up...

"so I place Joe's studies on the "Let's see how it pans out" shelf..."

I have a shelf ..its called my AFL file ...Awaiting Further Light..
but I like your shelf...might have to make one myself :-)

  18. An interesting read regarding calendars, yovels/jubilees, etc. is a book called Wheel of Stars by Andrew Gabriel Roth (AENT). It is not light reading by any means, and I think Mr. Roth could have done a better job of making the complex material a little more "user-friendly;" however, he makes good points based on scriptural foundations. Definitely worth adding to your library if you are interested in this topic. Just bing/google the book or the author and you should find the website.

    Shalom!
