Hi,
My name is Joseph. I am new here. so if anyone has any suggestions for me as far as reading and things to listen too it is greatly appreciated.
Welcome brother, and shabbat shalom!
Shalom and welcome Joseph!
If you haven't heard them yet, I would HIGHLY recommend the following:
Covenant of the Pieces
The Threshold Covenant
The Salt Covenant
The Amidah
Beyond that, it depends on where you come from (religious background) and where you are in your walk right now as to what I would recommend. Rico doesn't do much writing, so if you're looking for a stuff to read, there are plenty of posts here on the forum that have great information. In the upper right hand corner is a search box for the forum so that you can dig up old discussions and add to them. Also, don't be afraid to ask any question even if it seems stupid because there is no such thing as a stupid question. There are plenty of people on this forum who love to answer questions or direct you towards something that will answer your question. Also, if you are interested in a certain subject, just post a question about it. Many of us visit a myriad of Messianic/Hebrew Roots websites and are often able to recommend papers and teachings of others. If you need anything and would prefer to ask privately, you can always email me at rootedintorah@gmail.com
Shalom,
Ryan
Shalom and Bless You, Joseph!
We are all here to help you. Just post your questions or thoughts and someone will pipe up with their answer.
Love and Blessings,
Yitz'ach
I recently Just bought this set.... http://www.artscroll.com/Products/AEL1.html
And if any one else has any recomendations for resources I should by and have in my library and any other study tools/neccessities... Please let me know.
@Ryan White I will be checking out those teachings Thank you for the Suggestions.
Those are a great start slave4messiah! Have you looked at eSword or PowerBible? They are both bible softwares. eSword can be gotten from AwakenedChurch.com and is LOADED with free resources, Clint has made many modules with the Hebrew Roots minded people specifically. PowerBible is what Rico uses and costs about $20.
The teachings Ryan refers to can be found on Rico's Home page
The Salt Covenant http://wisdomintorah.com/the-salt-covenant-teaching/

Teresa I have the E-Sword from awakened Church... Messianic Edition lol. However I prefer the good ol' Book in my hands and infront of my face.
Thank you for the links.
Also what can I now do as a member.... what is differnt now? lol Im learning how everything is functioning now. I am a noob here.
Great!
Well as a member you now have access to the forum (as you know :) ).
You also have access to Rico's home page and all his teachings both past and ongoing. (These are now available to you at a member's reduced price as well). His homepage is also filled with additional information and resources that he lists and at times provides links to.
On occasion you will receive emails from Rico or Victor updating you to what is going on or will be happening.
Rico's stated many times he would like the forum to be like a Yeshiva, a place of learning. He does on occasion stop by and comment but not usually.
If you stop by here regularly, you'll get a wide exposure to many thoughts, studies, views and members, primarily Torah observant, in all stages of growth and understanding. We don't always agree but we try to keep the forum in keeping with scripture and Rico's teachings since he is the host of this site and we are his invited guests.
If you have any questions, just post them. You can also try the search bar at the top right to see if anything comes up, adding to the post will bring it back up to the top again for further reviews/comments.
Again, welcome.
Joseph,
I recommend these two books:
1. Pentateuch and Haftorahs by Hertz. An excellent commentary on the Torah. Just remember that this is written by a non-believer in Yeshua.
2. Copernicus and the Jews by Daniel Gruber. An enlightening and eye-opening book on Replacement theology - the teaching that the Church replaced Israel.
Shalom.
Joegim... Idont believe in Replacement theology tho...
Copernicus and the Jews is a book that shows the fallacy of the Replacement theology doctrine. Here is the Amazon link: LINK
Another reference you may like from Artscroll if you are trying to learn Hebrew is the Schottenstein Edition of the Chumash and Psalms. I absolutely love my copies. In addition to the commentary, they are interlinear!! All of the verses read from right to left with the Hebrew words having the vowel points and underneath each word is the English translation. There is no transliteration, but I prefer this because it forces you to become proficient at actually reading the Hebrew. If you are interested, you can preview how the pages look at the following link: LINK
Shalom,
Ryan
Thanks Ryan! I have the set from my link in one of my above comments... and they have the Hebrew also so I can learn in it also.
Joseph,
Sorry for that earlier wrong description of Copernicus and the Jews. It is showing the fallacy and non-Biblical basis for Replacement theology. In addition the author has an audio lecture on each chapter at:

Shalom.
