Shalom:
Many people use the first century writings out of context without the benefit of the idiomatic expressions or who the audience was in the first century. This teaching will help you understand some basic principles of the gospel and to whom did Peter write this letter. Once you understand this letter in context there is no question that Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel.
Enjoy Shalom
Rico

Rico,
Thank you so much for this amazing teaching, it has been really helpful! Could you help clarify the verse you referenced as Numbers 8:15, speaking of those “sojourners” who wished to join with Israel? This verse speaks of something different. Thanks and Shalom!

Don’t know if you can edit it or not, but your first sentence says “our of context” instead of “out of context”….just thought you should know (it’s the editor in me

Rico, I have just finished listening and watching 1 Kefa Part 1 and this is great teaching! I knew the letters were answers to questions. I was enlightened when you stated to read verse 1 of 1 Kefa Ch. 1 and look at the audience Kefa was writing too. Kefa was writing to the Israelites dispersed in the five provinces who were keeping the covenant of Yahweh. Now studying is really going to get better now that I know to look at the audience. It is good to study and rightly divide the truth. I am inspired to continue to be a doer and remain in covenant with the truth of Yahweh’s scriptures. Shalom
