Deuteronomy 11:26 - 16:17

Isaiah 54:11 - 55:5

Reeh WT

This Parashah covers blessings for obedience, curses for disobedience, not worshiping YHVH the way the nations worship their gods, updated instruction for slaughter of altar animals, warning not to allow anybody to lead you into the worship of other gods, laws concerning kashrut, laws concerning the sh'mita year, and updated instructions for the Passover.

Treason in the kingdom is something that we as the kingdom of YHVH must address from it's legal context. The Book of Deuteronomy is known by scholars to be written in the formula of an Ancient Treaty Format. Chapter 13 is an important chapter in reference to the penalty of treason and it's penalty.what are the consequences of in Israel? How do these laws apply to us now? What are the legal penalties of someone who tells us to keep the observance of Easter, Christmas and Sunday as holy days? What about all those teachers that tell us the Torah is done away with? Is that Treason? We are to stand up for the honor of the King and his commandments with complete loyalty (LOVE) and not allow anyone anymore to profane the integrity of our heavenly father and of His son Yeshua our Messiah and Master.

Lastly, we will also focus on the Temple aspect of this Torah Portion and connect the importance of separating the concept of Temple purity from the regular dinner table.

I am a teacher of Scriptures, Torah follower, and believer in Messiah Yeshua. I have been given the opportunity to share the Word of God with many believers around the world. My work as a servant of the Most High God has allowed me to be a voice to spread the good news of the New Testament, unveiling its truth through context and the obedience to the Almighty through his Torah.

    1. I’m not sure how to get follow up to comments made but just checked both boxes at the bottom. Still wondering on the widow/orphans, how to help but enable them.

    2. I need some “wisdom in Torah” Rico. I hear what your saying, I know that I deserve nothing as one of the stiff neck stubburn of all people. Yet He has shown grace to me thus your saying rightly to do so unto others. Exo. 22:22, widows and orphans is my question. It seems that when a women is left by her husband for another women, or if a women’s husband abuses her, her children and she must leave that situation, she is made a widow with her children becoming orphans?
Also you say and I agree, we help others but esp. widows and orphans no matter what because Torah does not give terms for help, just help. Also as you say we give them a hand up verses a hand out which equals, socialism. In the ancient world except for Torah, they said but did not do, but said to get the vote as it where of the people, only then the government oppressed the poor by their lies. “Is this making sense to you I pray?” (Brother Brad says, please don’t use my own words on me 🙂
Back to the question: does this seem correct regarding widows and orphans with women at times placing themselves in unfavorable situations yet we help as we are commanded? I note that Mary placed herself in a unfavorable life style. Yeshua our example only said, Mary this is not good for you, I don’t condemn you but don’t keep doing this, sin no more. Mary then thanked the Lord by washing His feet with her tears, drying His feet with her hair. (Question: how long do you go before washing your hair after you have dried the feet of the King of the Universe. Maybe never, maybe you don’t have to wash your hair after drying His feet)
I kid only slightly wishing your Torah wisdom regarding this matter of widow and orphans. Thank you for all that you do.Even so come Lord Yeshua!

In the judgement of the nations doesn’t “my brethren” refer only to the Jewish people who are the most persecuted among people? Others say it includes other people groups who are faithful Christians which
I think are not included. What would you say?

    4. I praise the Lord for your teachings, praise His name forever. I was also blessed by your “Roots” testimony with a simular journey. In regards to helping the poor this has been placed on my heart for many years with your teaching this week giving me more clarity esp. making note that the poor many times are poor by making poor choices. Poor choices or not, we still help the poor making sure that we do not help in a poor way, i.e. by enabling them to remain poor, the way of the world. I got all of this from your teaching, thank you so much, praise Yah.
I do not think you can hear me thru my computer saying, “Preach it bother” but my head frequently nods yes when you ask, “Is this making sense to you?”

    5. We are still in excite and suffer disunity as a result of it. While unity is a worthy goal is not obtainable until returned to land and there is a temple. There can be a measure of unity within individual groups. If there are differences in calendar dates, how to pronounce etc; I don’t see Hebrew Roots which is worldwide have the unity you desire until we elect a Pope? Publicizing the disunity on worldwide web; increase disunity and puts our dirty laundry out in open. There will be Peace on Earth only when the Prince of Peace returns.

Yes, we are currently messy but gradually things will be worked out and definetly when He returns
