This is the teaching on the site where the former altar to the golden calf was worshiped by the northern kingdom and the king Jeroboam. This is the pivotal place of repentance of our tour, where we come before the creator and repent for our sins and the sins of our forefathers.
Leviticus says:
26:40 “‘If they confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary to me,
41 I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity;
42 then I will remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land.
43 The land also will be left by them, and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them: and they will accept the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they rejected my ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.
44 Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their God;
45 but I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am Yahweh.'”
46 These are the statutes, ordinances and laws, which Yahweh made between him and the children of Israel in Mount Sinai by Moses.
In light of these verses I take the tour to the place where it started and ask the father to have mercy on us and repent before we go up to Jerusalem and present ourselves before the presence of the Great King. Remember that Yeshua did the work of redemption so that we can return to the covenant, the land and the kingdom. For all that may the name of our heavenly father be praise for the great love YHVH has for his people by sending Yeshua to stand up for us and restore the covenant.
I am a teacher of Scriptures, Torah follower, and believer in Messiah Yeshua. I have been given the opportunity to share the Word of God with many believers around the world. My work as a servant of the Most High God has allowed me to be a voice to spread the good news of the New Testament, unveiling its truth through context and the obedience to the Almighty through his Torah.

This teaching could change the life of my loved ones!, How can I get a copy of this video to play of line, as they live on a very remote farm and there is no internet connection?

I am so thankful that Father is raising up true and committed teachers as yourself. I pray that Father will continue to bless me with His wisdom in the days ahead as I have much to understand.
Hi Rabbi,
My prayers are w/you & your household, your yeshiva. I pray that our Elohim will continue to Bless your efforts to educate & prepare His people for His return. 🙂
Great teaching – thank you so much Rico! What a blessing to be in the land and to repent in that place!
Is there more information on this subject?
I’m hoping someone can point me to a great article or teaching on the golden calf from the perspective that the Israelites weren’t worshipping the calf, per se, rather that they were using the calf to mediate or worship YHVH. (if this correct.) In other words, worshipping YHVH the way they wanted to worship Him. I’ve looked at several Jewish papers on the subject and they are all over the place.
I’m hoping this understanding would be pivotal to some friends, to see that christmas and easter are the same thing: worshipping Yah the way you want to.

To this day I cannot see how YHVH has such mercy and compassion on us after all we do to disobey him!
Your passion and love of our King and your desire to keep His Torah with all of your being are an inspiration brother Rico!
Shalom
