Don't Forget to
This teaching is presented by Joseph Good from Hatikva Ministries during a Temple Course in Orlando, FL hosted by Wisdom in Torah Ministries. The goal of this teaching is to help understand the actual location of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. There is much confusion in this topic, and in this teaching we discuss the various theories with the different types of resources that are available from experts on the topic. Was just wondering, is there a source of living water on the Temple Mount. Also, Yeshua stated ‘Not one stone would be left upon another’. Not trying to start something here, but, there are word that have been written. I am not a scholar of any sort, my goals now are to know the Words of YHVH as best as I am able, and to walk in them. I have not watched the video by Joe yet, but will do so this evening. Am looking forward to what Joe has to say!!
I haven’t read Ernest Martin’s book, but I have read Robert Cornuke’s book which goes along the same lines and gives pretty much the same information and conclusion. Being uninformed from the start about ALL of the research on the 2nd Temple, Cornuke had me convinced. Then I started studying the actual research that has been done. Joseph Good has spent over 40 years learning everything he can about the 2nd Temple: it’s location, the services practiced therein, the architecture, the history of Jerusalem, the geography of the area in and around Jerusalem, etc. He is considered one of the world’s foremost experts on the Temple. After learning what I now know about the 2nd Temple, I could barely re-read Cornuke’s book. It’s not only wrong, it’s dead wrong. And if Martin’s book is anything like Cornuke’s, then it’s going to be dead wrong also. I can understand why Joseph put the book down after page 38. It’s like a incoming freshman’s first research paper being presented as a doctoral thesis. It would be rejected before the whole paper had been read. The only thing that one can learn from Martin’s and Cornuke’s books is what poor research looks like. The evidence is overwhelming and falls on the side of Joseph Good’s teaching.

I agree with you about the amazing resource Joe Good is for us in order to understand these things. Bob is not as you know a researcher but a repeater of someone else’s bad research.
After page 38, Joseph puts down Ernest Martin’s book? Hmmm. With all due respect, if Joseph wants to debate, he needs to finish the book. I wasn’t sure he did… the video has issues, stops, go, pauses. So if I read the Torah & the renewed Testament and do not agree on many teacher’s interpretations, do I stop reading, and say, “I’m going to do more investigating”. I believe it is respectful to listen to both arguments. We can all learn.

If you consider going back and listen to where Joe said he went back to read in order to do this teaching. I am also a temple researcher and I could not get beyond a certain point on Ernest book. Once you start recognizing real research then is hard to read a book written based only on speculations. Shalom thanks for the comments
