Don't Forget to
This Parashah covers a recounting of the stages that Israel went through since their journey from Egypt, directions for the conquest of Canaan, the boundaries of the land, naming of the tribal leadership, establishment of Levitical cities, establishment of cities of refuge, laws concerning the avenger of blood, and the ruling concerning female heirs.
This week's Torah portion deals with the 42 locations of the wandering of the children of Israel in the Wilderness. Also, we will find the plan of redemption in the commandment of the cities of refuge. I pray that this weeks torah portion will give you deeper understanding of the wisdom in YHVH and how He is always keeping his word and covenant with His people Israel even in the mist of trouble, disobedience, and rebellion.
In the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelites, and say to them: When you cross over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their figured stones, destroy all their cast images, and demolish all their high places.
In 1948, God restored Judah back to the land of Israel. Fast forward 66 years later and we are currently seeing the fruits of not kicking the idolatrous Muslims out of the land which God promised our forefathers.
But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those whom you let remain shall be as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides; they shall trouble you in the land where you are settling. And I will do to you as I thought to do to them.
Today, Hamas is a thorn in Israel's side. Not something that has the ability to kill you, but something that is a constant source of trouble. It should be no surprise that this week's Torah Portion (the 2nd in the 3 leading up to Tish B'Av) includes this warning to Israel.
This page includes Torah Portions from multiple years covered by Wisdom in Torah. Each year we covered the Torah from a different perspective so you can explore each Parashah from a different perspective and focus.

thank you for showing the “resources” that you will be using among others—-gives me a chance to highlight and better understand what you are “teaching”. Thank you for that extra time (that takes from your teaching time) to better enable us to follow along and to later go back and veify what you said—-;0]
Rico,
Great Torah teaching. I had quite a few eye opening learning experiences because there was a lot of truth in the Torah reading I was not aware of hitting me in the face. Peace and many blessings to you and yours.

Lockness,
You make extremely valid points. Never thought of the importance of beards (being female). I agree Dawid was representing our ABBA YAH and hanun knew exactly what he was doing. Continue your search. Peace and many blessing to you.
Rolling out the red carpet for the bride now makes Biblical sense to me! Thank you for feeding me/us the Torah of Truth. You are a blessing to many.
Shabbat Shalom,
DeVora Clark
Thank you Rico, so very much. This teaching has given me a whole new thread to study through.
Shabbat Shalom Rico and team
This was great! We have taped this so need to go through it again slowly; but thank you, it has now put so much more perspective on things. When you were speaking of the Rite of separation to the rite of incorporation, I thought of Dawid’s men, when they were sent by Dawid to Hanun, after the Sovereign of Ammon had died. How Hanun took Dawid’s men and shaved off half their beards and cut off their garments in the middle, as far as their buttocks, and sent them away.
How these men of Dawid’s, men of Yisra’el, were ashamed, and after sending word, Dawid told them to “Wait at Yericho until your beards have grown, then return.”
Perhaps this act caused them to inadvertently feel that they had transgressed Torah by… “marring (decay or to cause ruin, cast off, corrupt) the corners of your beard”, and it meant that they had to go through this time of separation before being accepted/incorporated back into normal society as it was a commandment of YHWH that they not mar the corners of their beards, it was not normal for a man not to have a full beard.
I don’t know, would this be also an example? The many things now, that we see that sets Yisra’el apart from the other nations that we all are a part of now, is a wonderful thing. Hanun ‘spat in the face’ of the Elohiym of Yisra’el, and mocked Him by purposefully cutting off half the men’s beards; I am going to surmise that he knew exactly what he was doing. But also – he was spitting in Dawid’s face and mocking Dawid; that was his purpose, but little did he know he was actually doing it to YHWH, for Dawid represented YHWH as King for Yisra’el.
What you have all put together is another pearl of great price to get excited over and to guard so we can be pleasing to our Heavenly Father, thank you.
Shabbat Shalom
There is an incredible encoding of Yeshua in Jeremiah 2:3
This verifies what Rico has taught us today!
In the verse:
Jer 2:3 קדשׁ ישׂראל ליהוה ראשׁית תבואתה כל־אכליו יאשׁמו רעה תבא אליהם נאם־יהוה׃
In the words: יאשׁמו רעה
we see: י שׁ ו ע Yeshua
between: א מ ר ה He said in
Jer 2:3 in English: Israel was holy to the YHVH, the firstfruits of His harvest. All who ate of it incurred guilt; disaster came upon them, declares the YHVH
The verse is in context with the introduction of the book of Jeremiah and his calling. The verse has more depth though.
The fulfillment of the firstfruits of His Harvest is Yeshua! We all need Yeshua because in Adam we have all transgressed + are guilty of sins.
Yet thanks be to YHVH Our Abba in Heaven because He so loved us He sent Yeshua!
Yeshua says, ‘Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed’ (Matthew 21:44; Luke 20:18)
We fall on to our Messiah Yeshua, broken by the guilt of our sins, and we see what He did for us on the Ancient Tav shaped Cross/Execution stake where He poured out His Blood for us as The Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. And He fixes us by Ruach HaQodesh (man, i know this to be True, HalleluYah!). Yet, as Rico teaches us for today’s Torah portion, those that do not call on our Messiah Yeshua as their personal Master + follow His Torah are set apart for destruction! Yeshua is The One Who will be the Rock that crushes them!
There is no condemnation for us in our Messiah Yeshua. (Romans 8:1)
My goodness, i do hope anyone reading this today + who does not yet know Yeshua are convicted of sins by Ruach HaQodesh and will call on Him as personal Messiah and Master because He is coming soon! HalleluYah!
The encoding here in the verse expounds it because Yeshua has said in His Word. HalleluYah! This humbles me very much + all i am left to do is worship our Messiah Yeshua my Master!
Awesome! Shabbat Shalom + Shavua Tov bYeshua!

Your teaching are so filling and yes I must digest it, but never forget it. It’s good for you to do this for our study when we come together, it adds to our understanding.
Be Blessed and Thanks again for your time given!

Are we able to get a copy of the full presentation that Ryan created? I can find the one slide inserted above, but I was interested in the other information Ryan et. al. put together. Thank you again so much for this ministry!
I’m still adding a bit more info to the slides and then I’ll post it. There is an incredible amount of information but I want to make sure that I include enough proof that this is an established legal precedence in Torah and not me just reading something into the text.
Shabbat Shalom!
Shabbat Shalom! This teaching is a blessing, i thank our Messiah Yeshua my Master for this.
The Blood of Yeshua does wash us clean from our sins so He can Legally Live in us by His Life by Ruach HaQodesh. This is the Eternal Heavenly Law of how He makes us born again! So, we receive Him, are born again by Ruach HaQodesh and have Yeshua living in us by Holy Spirit guiding us, writing Torah lifestyle on our hearts so it is our Drive and Motivation + desire so we can live the life.
We move from our old life, before being born again, to being crucified with Our Messiah Yeshua, so we move from old life to death and we are born again, so we move from our life being dead with Yeshua on The Ancient Tav Cross to Yeshua’s Resurrected Life in us + we need Him to Guide us in this born again Life. We then have a spirit that is being prepared for the new body. Yeshua being the Firstfruits from the dead already has His resurrection Body. So we can trust Him for ours! We are learning to be ready for the Millennial Reign. We are sealed + have an Inheritance and inherit the Land when He returns. Maran etha Yeshua! Come Our Lord Yeshua!
HalleluYah!
The ANET perspective is a wonderful and profound way to walk closer with Yeshua!
Unity makes more sense. Incredible!
Be blessed + be blessed again!

Rico..High Five!
Very Fantastic ! So, the action of circumcision, is to devote, the seed of the man to YHVH. The devoted thing is male seed, to continue the generations, and Torah says not to spill your seed, not to mix seed, and not to defile seed with those of other gods.
Artificial insemination could be an abomination; depends how it’s done. Masturbation, a man must keep himself sexually pure, in out marriage. Women also, Niddah. Homosexuality, as male seed is to be devoted to YHVH for continuation of generations; lesbianism doesn’t receive devoted male seed devoted to YHVH for continuation of generations. However, in both cases there is no fruit, and every tree that doesn’t bear fruit; is cut down. USA becomes more fruitless, dead wood ready for the fire. Teaching children homo is ok; to defile the devoted; abortion to prevent the birth of male seed. (yes there are also females) Is answer for 7,000 years, Adam’s and his seed out the Kingdom for 7?
