Don't Forget to
This Parashah covers the death of Aaron's 2 sons and the laws of kashrut. It's very important so that we can understand the wonderful love that YHVH has for us, and how HE always desire to keep us healthy but obeying HIS commandments. I will show you scientific evidence why the clean animals are edible and why the unclean animals are not.
Also, Understanding the principles of Suzerain-vassal Covenant will give us a better perspective why Yahweh is so specific about us eating what He says so that we can stay healthy. We are a reflection of our King and if we are sick then the world will wonder why our king does not keep us healthy. So, in his wisdom knowing the end from the beginning gives us instructions so that none of the diseases of Egypt will come upon us. Obedience to his commandments will set us apart from the world.
This page includes Torah Portions from multiple years covered by Wisdom in Torah. Each year we covered the Torah from a different perspective so you can explore each Parashah from a different perspective and focus.

Rico, be strengthened as you blaze a trail for others! We will have to talk soon and get you up to Wstern Canada to meet your brothers and sisters up here and go through a few scriptures together!!!
Where are you going in South Africa and if I can ask, what is taking you there? I was there last July….it was awesome…… Thanks for your discipline of being here every week. I enjoy studying with you, as does my family. Peace and love. Derek
Thank you, Rico. This teaching provided me with additional answers to help my family understand WHY we must obey Yah’s instructions on eating kosher…as well as an understanding of how the 1st century writings have become so musunderstood.
Thank you, again, for your dedication.
Also, the “porksoap” website is very helpful. YHVH bless you for every effort you make to spread His Truth!
Rico,
Thank you for your wonderful teaching. But I do have question.
You mentioned eating unclean was not a salvation issues. How do you explain Isiah 66:17 They that sanctify 6942 8693 themselves, and purify 2891 8693 themselves in the gardens 1593 behind 310 one 259 tree in the midst, 8432 eating 398 8802 swine’s 2386 flesh, 1320 and the abomination, 8263 and the mouse, 5909 shall be consumed 5486 8799 together, 3162 saith 5002 8803 the LORD 3068 .

I’d like to hear Rico’s take on this also. This is just my opinion but I think people think that this is not a salvation issue because of Matt 5:19 states:“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven…”
But the previous verses talks about Him not abolishing the law and prophets. And afterwards He names commandments that are taken from the 10. Nowhere is eating swine mentioned and so I see this as a separate thing meaning Isaiah 66:17 stands as it is written. Again, just my opinion. Waiting for Rico.
Toda Raba Rico!!!
Your teaching was phenomenal. You are helping so many to walk a holier life. May YHWH bless you, your wife and your children.
Seventh Generation is a company that offers kosher fabric softeners and vitamins and other products that are kosher. I have no financial interest in the company, I just located it through researching for kosher products.
Rico, thank you so much for your teaching…looks like I have some downy to throw out.
Hey everyone, on a sort of related topic, if you want to go one step further simply get rid of fabric softeners (liquid and sheets) altogether by simply getting a laundry detergent that is free from fillers. It is the fillers that cause static. Without these fillers, static is history! Norwex laundry detergent is the one we use and is available in US and Canada.FYI Shalom
Brother Rico, I wouldn’t dream of laughing at you, but you do make me smile. This lesson will be a big help for me today. I have been trying to eat kosher for about a year. The worst thing I have had to deal with was the bacon sandwich. Giving up the bacon was nearly so hard as giving up smoking. Occasionally I have a real longing for a bacon sandwich. I guess I was really addicted. Thanks once again.
Shalom Jill.
When I clicked on the Kosher Animals Power Point to follow along, the cite took me away from the video teaching instead of the window just popping up. That meant that the video portion started all over again. Is there any way to post the power point differently?
Thank you.
I just read that Cheetos & Doritos have pork enzymes. Can this be true? I know they are not good for you, but my goodness they really taste good. Well, I guess Iwon’t be eating those animore…. it’s all worth it!
YEB!!!! It is very True. You how hard that was for me to accept????? I used to like cheetos,
Hola Rico,
Good news!!! I have been doing lots of ‘kosher’ research after listening to this portion and because Passover is coming up. Frito Lay has posted a list of all of their pork-free snacks, etc. on their website. They say that Regular Cheetos are pork-free!!!!! Although the Regular Doritos are not!! There is also a really great website – http://www.theisraelofgodrc.com/CUPL.html – that has done a ton of research on what foods contain pork and which ones are ok, even though they don’t have a ‘kosher’ mark and – biblicalkosher.alittlehebrew.com – is also another great site for those interested in more on what foods are Biblically kosher.
Shalom and Blessings to you and your family, Brandy
Hi Maria, Can you send me what you have been reading on this snack food situation. My wife is quite concerned!!
Thanks,
Derek

Carol, I came to the same conclusions after many years of believing Jesus came to ‘liberate’ us from those things. But if he changed Torah (which most Christians seem to believe), he broke Torah (Dt. 4:2, Dt. 12:32). That disqualifies Him as Messiah.
What I tell any Christian who will listen (there are few) is that, even if the “Law” was nailed to the “Cross”, and therefore not their problem, it WAS Yeshua’s problem. He had to keep the “Law” perfectly to die as a sinless offering. So much Christian doctrine hangs on Jesus changing the Law while He was still just a man.
Yes, he declared all “food” clean. He didn’t change the definition of “food”.
Brother Rico, we’re not laughing at you, rather with you, for your teachings bring us much wisdom and joy
Shalom,Homer
I totally agree.
Katie
What an excellent teaching! Gross in some parts but necessary. I have been eating kosher for almost a year now. But the reason why I wasn’t eating kosher before was because I was told that:
1) It was for the Jews only.
2) Pigs today are clean now because they are raised on farms and fed corn.
3) We have refrigerators now. (implying that if there was anything bad from pork, that it was due to lack of refrigeration)
4) A distortion of Colossians 2:16-17 ‘So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come…’ Brace yourself for this interpretation: These things were mere shadows of things to come which was fulfilled by Jesus(Yeshua). So keeping the Sabbath was an Old Testament shadow of the New Testament and the dietary laws, the same. But in the New Testament, the wall of separation between Jew and Gentile has been removed so that all men can come together which means that just as we are no longer required to keep the Sabbath, we are also no longer required to keep the dietary laws.
How’s that for an interpretation?!? Talk about twisting scripture! But I believed this because it seemed to make sense from a casual reading. But upon further inspection in learning and studying Hebraically, I now see the deception.
What stuck out to me regarding the dietary laws was when a friend said to me that “pork is not a food.” Just because we’re able to eat it and able to make it taste good does not change the fact that it, and shellfish, are not in the food category! So when the bible talks about ‘all food is good to eat’, it means that which is deemed “food.” If it wasn’t in the “food” category before, then it isn’t now.
So thank you, Rico, for this teaching. While I do eat kosher now, there was a lot that I didn’t know which you covered in your presentation and I thank you. And don’t worry about the big words. I doubt anyone who’s not in the medical field could pronounce those words properly.
May Yahweh bless you and keep you.
Shalom – Carol
