    Hi Daniel,

This series on the Ma’al has set a foundation for The Way in which we approach our Father, rendering Him the reverence He is worthy of. I have travailed in prayer over how acceptable it is to treat Him and His things flippantly. The chodesh life, the covenants, the protocol of His kingdom, Rites of Passage, the studies on Ma’al Sancta Trespassand the Temple Sacrifice studies, all of these teachings clearly hinge one upon another. That when one steps back to take it all in, it is a breathtaking tapestry of a King and His kingdom, that leaves one speechless and in awe.. I spend days pondering the teachings, and asking the Ruach Ha Chodesh how to apply them in my life and home. The peace that has come into our home, in spite of having no regular fellowship, is inexplicable. My husband and I cannot find enough time in our day to study. We have essentially enrolled into Wisdom In Torah Hebraic Studies University, and it is an essential part of our week. I encourage you, Rico and Daniel to continue with the excellence and diligence you have all demonstrated. May YHWH make His face to shine upon you.

  2. Daniel,
Thank you for your obedience to study and freely give us the fruit of your labor. My husband I have learned so much from all of you and each one of you that teach (along with Rico) bring so much to the table for us to eat from. I have never felt the way I do now( in past years) the love and faithfulness that I have for the King. Shalom to you and your family

    Daniel,
I want to believe that all I have to do is pray and wait for Yahweh to fight my battles but even in ancient Israel there was “recourse and a procedure” one could follow to get relief from an injustice that’s happening to them . They could go to the Sanhedrin, right? They didn’t just pray about it. They “did something” within the framework of the Torah, right?
I realize we’re not to sue each other as brothers and sisters in the Kingdom and that’s not what I’m trying to do, but what about non believers who are hurting us. Shouldn’t we use our legal system to get help and relief? And didn’t King David take measures to fight Goliath? He “did something” to help himself and the others. Yahweh was with him but he had to step forward and do something, right?

    Respectfully,

    Toni

    1. Toni,
I guess I am confused in what the battle is specifically you are referring to.I agree we are to be prepared to fight the battles that we may encounter, (just as Israel was and is)I am only emphasizing the aspect of knowing our King is the one who tells us the who, what, why ,where and when. When we are faithful to the King, He is the Shield of our salvation, not ourselves. This is the point I am hoping to get across.

  4. Good job Daniel, great job on the research and presentation my friend. I am so happy and proud to have you and ryan helping me and teaching on the page.
    Shalom

    1. Thank you my brother. You know already what a blessing it is to do this research alongside you and Ryan and how it has transformed our lives for the King over the past year and a half. I truly am blessed and in awe of Our King that He would allow us to do this.

    Daniel,
Thank you for this teaching on Ma’al. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate the research work you guys do (you, Ryan and Rico) If I understood you correctly , regarding the part where you talk about fighting our own personal battles, you’re saying that we should be still and let Yah fight the battle for us, right? I am constantly hearing from others that I should “do something” to fight my enemy (who are persecuting me) but my strategy has been to pray and let Yah fight the battle for me. Is there ever a time when we should do something to help fight the battle?
    Thank you,
    Toni

    1. Toni,
You absolutely heard me correctly in that we need to be still and let Yah fight for us, His People. But also remember that historically when a Vassal nation was in Covenant with its Suzerain King, one of the stipulations of covenant was that the vassal fight to stand up for the integrity of their King no matter what. This is what Israel is called to do. Yes, this means physical war at times as I read from Von Rad’s book about the “divine confusion on YHWH’s part once Israel went into battle. But currently we as His People need to STAND for HIS Integrity also by being Ambassadors to His Torah and His Messiah. Too many times we get reactive to certain arguments or topics due to all of us being zealous for the KING, but in reality it is not up to the vassal to determine policy. Helping fight the battle often means just walking the Covenant with the KING YHWH. Our lives are to be an ongoing testimony of who HE is, not who we are. I hope this helps and I really appreciate being to elaborate more on the teachings.
      Shalom
      Daniel.
