Don't Forget to
This Parashah covers the plagues upon Egypt. In this Torah Portion we will learn about the legal right of YHVH to declare war and bring judgement to Egypt for the treatment of the Hebrews by the Egyptians. The Lawsuit or "Rib" which means controversy or contention was a well known process of the Ancient Near East and also Scriptures.
Judges 11: 10-22 would be a great example of an international lawsuit against an enemy and the outcome. Moses serves as the messenger of the King to give an opportunity to Pharaoh to let Israel go and serve their King. I pray the teaching will give you a deeper insight into the Ancient Near East understanding of a legal Judgement against Egypt.

Thanks,
Daniel
could not get part 2
Awesome teching Daniel but I’m wondering why in Numbers the Lord chose to use a serpent to ward off the snakes and not a symbol more acknowledging the Lord and His power. Wouldn’t using a serpent reinforce their belief that the serpents were gods? Is there some posibility that because the serpent was bronze had anything to do with dispelling their beliefs in the serpents being a god?
Looking forward to your next teaching!
Blessings
I am wondering the same thing.
hi Rico, what if the key word in the “by my Shem I was not known to them” proclaimation is “them”?
Rico, Ryan and Dan. Do you know if the Israelites suffered through the first three plagues based on Exodus 8:22 “22 But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where my people dwell, so that no swarms of flies shall be there…” since Moses did not say this, or of any such manner of separation to Pharaoh, in the previous plagues? Thank you for taking time reading my question.
Looking for a place to read Rabbi Humberto Caso De Soto’s commentary.. Can’t find a single thing on him….
Also, the “Resources” for ANET do not work… I can’t play them 🙁
Thanks for the teaching
Thanks, as always, for sharing what God is showing you by revelation and study.
FYI, for the past several months, I can only watch the first video I click on. After that, the 2nd and 3rd videos on the same lesson (today there were only 2 videos) will not allow me to view, saying it’s a PRIVATE video. Just letting you know.
Shalom,
DeVora Clark
