Rico Cortes

I am a teacher of Scriptures, Torah follower, and believer in Messiah Yeshua. I have been given the opportunity to share the Word of God with many believers around the world. My work as a servant of the Most High God has allowed me to be a voice to spread the good news of the New Testament, unveiling its truth through context and the obedience to the Almighty through his Torah.

  1. Yes, please do us a CD of music! I, too, am at a loss since leaving Christianity behind! Would love to have some of your beautiful music to worship the Creator of Heaven and Earth with!

Shalom Rico, for all that you do!

  2. SABOR!! HAHAHA!! Como que quizo merenguear un poco eh hehehe…

I’ve heard this song before but I don’t know the name. Can anyone tell me the name of this song?

  3. WOW!!!! Thank you Rico for all you do for the glory of our creator and redeemer. I have listened to your teachings for a little while now and sometimes I may not entirely agree with you, but I have learned much and believe that your heart is in the right place.

Although I am concerned that if I encourage you too much in your worshipping of Yahweh through your singing we may lose a great Torah teacher. That stated, you truly have a gift that needs to be encouraged, so I have sent a contribution to not only support your efforts, but also to give you your first order for your first recording (there is nothing like getting an order for something to get things done!!). I pray for you, your family, and your work!!

    God Bless you Rico!

  4. Rico, most definately we are blessed by your teachings and I thank Yah that he gave us a teacher such as you…and I feel that sometimes I can personally come into a state of better focus on Yah through music and your voice most certainly brings me there I just wish you could put out a cd too (I know you are busy) because I am so blessed by your voice as well in song! Thank you for everything you do may you be blessed and protected.

  5. Very interesting–and important–topic. Thank you!

Rico, you do have a beautiful voice, but there is so much more to it. Your voice carries with it the heart of the ancient eternal priesthood and the song of our Home Land.

    Blessings!

.Please do what is most important to YHVH but He does want you to minister to us as well. Please count me in as well to buy your CD’s. I love music even though I cannot sing or play an instrument. If you need monies to record let us who are interested know and we’ll help as much as we can. I know this cost money. Shalom

  7. I haven’t listened to the entire interview yet,but the thought came to me that I have the “Music From God” cds which I purchased from Uri Harel a while back. Maybe you could do something with his project if it could be worked out. If not, then please by all means do the project with those Yahweh sends your way. I love music, and I love to sing, but since leaving church I find that I don’t really have any music to play and worship to in my solitude. I’m slowly buying some things which really minister to me,but overall I still don’t have much. I can’t speak Hebrew because I don’t know the language, but at times I do try to learn what I can online. Your voice is beautiful, and it would be a shame to hide it from others. You can count me in to purchase the cd whenever it’s finally done. I just hope that we don’t have to wait 2 years to get it. I now have something to add to my prayer list, and that would be that Yahweh will cause this project to happen expediently so that we can all be blessed by the music which He’s put into your soul. Shalom Shalom

    1. shalom to you sister!
I so much can agree towhat you write to Rico here! I ( Mrs Birkenes) really miss singing in fellowship after leaving the “system” many years ago– I am also waiting and thirsting for people — like Rico 🙂 – to sing the ancient ivrit prayers and psalms!!! All praise to YHVH and thanks to Rico who has started to “lift the veil” from the eyes of the house of Israel also in how to approach our King!
