Intro:

The title was changed to better clarify the teaching's purpose connecting Yeshua to the Melchizedek Priesthood using the book of Hebrews. Formerly called (the book of Hebrews and the day of Yom Kippur)

This teaching is about connecting the book of Hebrews to the day of Yom Kippur and the service in the temple. I will show how Yeshua fulfilled the ritual requirement of Yom Kippur and how the writer of Hebrews was showing Messiah as our High Priest. I pray that this teaching will give you a deeper understanding of Yeshua and the connection to the temple service.
Enjoy

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER FOR THIS STUDY:
6 YEARS AGO WHEN I RECORDED THIS STUDY I WAS TEACHING THAT WE ALL ARE IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK. I JUST WANTED TO MAKE THE CORRECTION THAT UPON EXTENSIVE RESEARCH AND STUDY I WAS WRONG IN SAYING THAT WE ARE ALL IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK. YESHUA IS OUR HIGH PRIEST IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK AND NOT ALL THE KINGDOM. THERE IS ONLY ONE HIGH PRIEST AND THAT PRIEST IS OUR MASTER YESHUA.

SORRY BUT 6 YEARS AGO THAT WAS THE INFORMATION I HAD AND NOW WITH MORE RESEARCH IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE THAT CORRECTION ON THIS TEACHING.

I am a teacher of Scriptures, Torah follower, and believer in Messiah Yeshua. I have been given the opportunity to share the Word of God with many believers around the world. My work as a servant of the Most High God has allowed me to be a voice to spread the good news of the New Testament, unveiling its truth through context and the obedience to the Almighty through his Torah.

  1. I have been a believer and I thought a follower of Messiah for 37 years. This is the first time I EVER realized that the Holy of Holies did not contain an arch with it’s contents in the second temple. I knew the arch was not taken away to Babylon, and that it had been hid, but even in reading Ezra and Neihmiah and the account of the rebuilding of the temple, I still did not put it together that there was no arch in The Most Holy place. I am continually reminded how stupid man kind is, how arogant we are and how MANY lies we have inherited. In the past I went over and over Hebrews and I knew it was about the Priesthood and not the covenant, but until I saw this teaching I did not see YomKipur. We were taught to sing these songs that we enter the holy of holies, we come by the blood of the lamb. When the truth is…. Yeshua is the only one who enters. NO MAN comes to the Father but by the Son.

  2. Rico, this was a very interesting study that did bless me. As I studied it in context with the verses that you did not comment on, I did not come to the same conclusion as you.
Can you explain: Why Chapter 8: 6, (after verse 7) 8-12 is speaking of the “renewed” Covenant (Order of Melchizedek) as replacing the Levitical (9:1) with all of it’s ordinaces and ceremonies? Taken in context: it includes the Priesthood with It’s Covenant. I cannot ‘see’ Them as separate from each other, since the ceremonies/ordinaces help to identify their Priesthood.

In, Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yahweh the Messiah,
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Matt 27:51, 28:2, Mark 15: 38 says, “the veil to the Most Holy was rent in two”.
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

These Scriptures do not say that “we cannot come into the holiest”.
As to how we study (for I do not know about Judaism, but I am sure it is similar), we are told to “”Compare Scripture with Scripture, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little; there a little.” Which in this short paragraph was not easy, but I hope you can see how I came to a different conclusion.
And, could you please give me or us the Version of Scriptures that you study from? Also the publisher?
    Much Love

    Shalom
you see the change is not about the whole levitical priesthood but only the High priest and the word that used there for holiest is not the in reference to the greek word Hagion which is sanctuary but a different one so is not saying that you and I have access to the holy of Holies because only Yeshua is our high priest. Give me a call sometime I think that I can explain better talking thank writing.

  3. I just finished the third part of the book of Hebrews. It has been a blessing. We need to stand for the truth although we maybe small in number. But always with love to those who are still blind to THE TRUTH. For we were once blind. May YHVH bless everyone. Muchas Gracias Hermano Rico Cortes espero algun dia conocerle. Shalom

  4. Great teachings Ricky, Just joined last week and have learnt so much in a matter of days……Will be watching your other video, Shalom and baruch to your family

  5. How I loved this teaching on the Melchizedek Priesthood. I truly thank YHVH for revealing and permitting you to teach pure gold from His Throneroom via Internet. In Australia, we are so starved for Torah based teachers here.
America! You should praise and glorify His name everyday, scream it from the mountain tops to have such teachers there like Rico and others in your country. We hear many, many ‘tickling’ sermons here, but there is no Torah based teaching here yet, but there will be!!! May His name be glorified forever. In Yeshua, Deborah

  6. Can’t wait for the 3rd video to be fixed Rico! I came to this revelation on my own the night of Yom Kippur and shared it with my wife just a couple days before we contacted you! What a blessing to have a witness after all this time show truth in the word that so many miss! Never again will we be able to allow a preacher to use the book of Hebrews to defile the Torah of YHWH and get away with it!

Hope your feast is blessed by the Most High!

  7. BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO DO NOT WAVER IN THEIR FAITH AND PATIENCE …IT FINALLY WORKED :)I – I could already use this teaching to open somebody’s eyes here in Jerusalem – the person said it was not a door that was opened, but a gate !!! He was hit on the head with a hammer ……
