Rico Cortes

I am a teacher of Scriptures, Torah follower, and believer in Messiah Yeshua. I have been given the opportunity to share the Word of God with many believers around the world. My work as a servant of the Most High God has allowed me to be a voice to spread the good news of the New Testament, unveiling its truth through context and the obedience to the Almighty through his Torah.

  1. Shalom Amanda Jacobsen,

Not sure if Rico will get back to you so I just wanted to offer a suggestion. Are you familiar with eSword? It has at least 3 free versions of the bible in Spanish.

Awhile back someone asked the same question. I suggested she download the Spanish versions and review some favorite scriptures to see which one resonates more with the reading. There are so many different Spanish dialects!

Afterwards, you can just try searching for it on Amazon, eBay or at Aish ( http://www.judaicawebstore.com/Aish/tanach-bible–C145.aspx ). Hope that helps some,

    Shalom,

    Teresa C.

  2. Rico,
thank-you for all you do in you words about the parashah, what a wonderful blessing you have become to so many of us that have listened and watched you grow in His Torah. We pray you will continue, may His blessings be upon you and your family always.
    Shalom

  3. Rico,
It is very obvious that Your heart loves and serves YHWH our King! Don’t forget that! Keep doing what you are doing. Your love, passion and teachings are blessing many, many people from ALL Nations. YHWH is using you to teach HIS TORAH. What an honor you have been given! Thanks for your obedience and commitment. May YHWH bless you and your family.

It is early Shabbat morning here in Canada. I’ve just listened to part one and thoroughly enjoying it.I really needed to hear about how we treat the leadership and different congregations. Looking forward to part 2.

Just a quick question. I have met a young Mexican man who has just come into the truth of Torah and would like to get him a Spanish Bible. Could you advise which one you like and where I could purchase it.

  5. Very interesting point 10tribe, I believe that you are correct in that matter. The tithe to the priest was supposed to go to the local Levite and the Levites in turn were to give a tithe from that to the temple.

  6. Shalom Rico, just finished listening to this Torah portion, you mentioned when the altar is rededicated we should send our tithe to the temple, wouldnt we just send our portion to you and you send the tithe, since you are the Levite? Isnt that the chain of command?

  7. Thanks Rico for this amazing teaching. May Yah continue to bless you. Can I have your email address please, I’ld like to ask a question regarding ‘authority of the leadership’. Shalom

  8. Rico. This lesson on Korah is so timely; your teaching on the issue of leadership is right on time. More of us need to step to the plate and tell it like it is. There can only be one set man in the house.

  9. Thank you for your teaching. I love your heart for YHVH, your respect for YHVH, and the care when you take when you are teaching to be true to the word of YHVH. This was an especially touching teaching and I enjoyed more than I can express in words. May YHVH continue to bless you, your family, and your ministry. Shalom my brother.

  10. Rico and all those as Wisdom in Torah, my husband and daughter and I are exceedingly greatfull for the Torah portion study each week. I watch your teachings all week, I love the Temple and Sacrifices teaching and watch it over and over as new things are revealed the more I look and learn. My daughter Kayalynn is four and she actually sits and watches you with me, I KNOW she is retaining some of the thought and care involved from you. Being that we have no Torah community where we live I thank HaShem for you and all the time you put in it has truly blessed our family.

    Sincerely,
    Celeste
