Leviticus 9:1 - 11:47

2 Samuel 6:1 - 7:17

Shemini WT

This Parashah covers the death of Aaron's 2 sons and the laws of kashrut. It's very important so that we can understand the wonderful love that YHVH has for us, and how HE always desire to keep us healthy but obeying HIS commandments. I will show you scientific evidence why the clean animals are edible and why the unclean animals are not.

Also, Understanding the principles of Suzerain-vassal Covenant will give us a better perspective why Yahweh is so specific about us eating what He says so that we can stay healthy. We are a reflection of our King and if we are sick then the world will wonder why our king does not keep us healthy. So, in his wisdom knowing the end from the beginning gives us instructions so that none of the diseases of Egypt will come upon us. Obedience to his commandments will set us apart from the world.

I am a teacher of Scriptures, Torah follower, and believer in Messiah Yeshua. I have been given the opportunity to share the Word of God with many believers around the world. My work as a servant of the Most High God has allowed me to be a voice to spread the good news of the New Testament, unveiling its truth through context and the obedience to the Almighty through his Torah.

  1. Ricco;

I think it would be a good idea to check out cleansing a dual purpose, physical and spiritual. First of all the body cannot be split like that. So, in the women’s monthly mikveh, you must throughly bathe your body and hair before the mikveh. Why? To be sure you understand, the mikveh, waters, spirit are for spirit cleanse not the body.

Our problem is that we do not have real mikveh’s to use like the orthodox. There are attendants, angles, and witness to the mikveh. No one dunk’s you; is totally voluntary “walking through the spirit”.

  2. Primo,

Thank you for the great teaching (and the laughter)!!!

One thing I want to share with you and have you consider on “medications” is Revelations 18: 23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
The word “sorceries” is actually the Greek word Pharmakia,; the one thing we been deceived by big Pharma, doctors and the health institutions. Of course, it worth to mention the Monsantos with the sorceries of GMO’s as they even add human DNA to their products.

By the the way, “Where we can get that Rabbi vaccine just in case??? LOL

  3. Great insite Rico, Have you considered the word gachon is also linked to the word Gichon (S 1521). This was one of the four rivers from the Garden of Eden and is the source for the pool of Salom. They had to build a pool because this this river’s flow was unreliable. The river had to fill up before it would gush out into the pool. We know that the high priest during Tabernacles would collect water from this pool to cleanse the altar on the last day of the feast. John 7:37-39 talks about this event when Yeshua told them that He was the living water and that out of your BELLY shall flow rivers of living water speaking of the spirit which was not yet given. I find it interesting that the Ruach is connected to obeying Lev 11:42. You connected Acts 15 with food, idolatry and adultry. The result is obeying Yah’s commands we become more sensitive to His Spirit.

  4. I began studying Torah in 2005 after nearly dying and on oxygen full time. I expected to die but was spared. I continue to learn Torah, but did not follow food laws until Shavuot 2008. I made a commitment at that time to put Yah to the test, I just did not know if I could do this or not. I had never recovered my physical strength since the illness in 05. One day after only 6 weeks of eating clean we were pouring concrete in the back yard in 100 degree temperatures, and the concrete was hardening so fast that we could not get it down quick enough. I rolled up my pant legs and jumped into the concrete to help, even pulling the heavy bull float to smooth out the concrete. Once the job was done and I was in the shower Yah spoke to me and said, “Is that not a miracle, that you had the strength to even keep up with the men in the hot temperatures?” I realized at that moment that I had been healed, after 3 years of struggling to have energy to make it through the day, and now after eating clean for only 6 weeks I was stronger than I had been in years. I never looked back. I have been keeping Yah’s food laws every since. I posted this, just in case there are others wondering how to start to obey. Just prove him, he will not fail you. His Word is true. Even though I am an RN, I discovered that he knew what was better for me than I did my self.

  5. Hi Rico, can you please explain the difference between eating blood and receiving a transfusion? (time-stamp 37:40) Let us recall what Luke said in Acts 15:29… “If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you!” Yes, keep good health! If not, say good night Gracie 🙂 Please share your thoughts. Thank you!

  6. At time-stamp 37:20 in Video 1 from your 2010 teaching; if it wasn’t for Jehovah’s Witnesses, the medical field may not have been as expedient regarding the cleansing and recycling of blood (Acts 15:19-20). It seems sad that stubborn men weren’t listening more promptly, they could have avoided many lives that were lost from AIDS. Yes, I do recall you mentioning all the time how we can learn from everybody- including the teachings from Monte Judah (your teachings seem so different from his) and Jehovah’s Witnesses, they lost connection with Jehovah due to men like the governing body or what Yeshua would have said if he was here…hypocrites. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing.
Can you also please make the PowerPoint available from your 2010 teaching, like a few comments made below, the PowerPoint made into a PDF doesn’t have the .PDF extension attached to the file, the browser is trying to find it from the host server.

  7. To joegrim:

I too am perplexed by what seems like two tier salvation. Those who follow my commands and teach others, greatest; those who do not least. I think we’d all better study this more; if we are teaching a Christian calling on the name of YHVH, Yeshua, is saved based on this one verse. The Israelite were saved by the faithfulness of YHVH to his word, and lead out of bondage by following the instructions. Maybe it could mean, those following and teaching commands are to live in the Crown Land; those who just call on the name of Yeshua stay in the natons like what happens in an Empire. What is being seen over the years those who don’t accept the Covenant standards and a Kingdom are stuck in religious doctrines, these are being beguiled by Christa Islam or going with Word of Faith and are linking up with the Pope. I think our Hebrew Roots type people need to re think this verse; greatest and least in the Kingdom. Everything should rest on 2-3 witnesses.

  8. To be an Israelite, food is not defined as we Americans do. Food in the Hebrew mind is clean; anything else is unclean or trief is not food. If the life soul is in the blood when kind of soul do you want? clean or unclean. The unclean are almost always aggressors, predators, who chase down their enemy and tear them to pieces with their claws, teeth or WORDS.

Kosher means prepared for purpose; clean for food, unclean for cleaning up refuge on land and in water.

  9. Think of it a Great King! Not every one in a Kingdom gets to come near the King there is protocol. Daily he is surrounded not by foreigners, but by his handpicked ministers. To follow the King’s instructions without explanation is a chock, laws of kasrut are a choc and the red heifer is a choc. When we follow the instructions, without question, we establish trust. It is in the trustworthiness of His ministers that tells him what secrets he cannot share with others. Kosher means prepared for purpose; and can apply to other areas, including more discernment about your environment and the people in it. Reading the Torah through as to clean and unclean; developed the mind to practice limits; not everything is for you a Royal priesthood, not every person is for you a Royal priesthood. Is very excellent for children to learn early this is ok this is not; you take them to zoo let them point out the clean and unclean; is exercise in making distinctions. So, begin as best you can with not just what you eat, but re read the Torah in that regards. The more you move toward kosher; the more trustworthy you are to come near the King, and he can reveal to you much in the doing. For instance, took years to stop with going to McDees and getting an egg McMuffin; I did it when I was upset. What was unclean? the food or my attitude? Kosher is a trust walk. I will follow His instructions as He is trustworthy; you gain habit of obediance; and in that journey He can tell you much. There are 3 things that cause human contamination; buildings, people and clothes. All vessels or containers. When you on purpose begin making decisions this is clean, this is unclean; it sharpens your discernment. We don’t know what is coming down; you need sharp minds sharp discernment; what building to stay out of, what people to move from, what clothing material not to wear. Movie theartres are one of the most unclean places to be in. People sit in dark and do all kinds of things, they leave human contamination, whatever vile moves are shown that influence remains (unless you know how to go in and cleanse it which is in Leviticus) You find out a lot about yourself you were hiding, how much it means to you what your friends or family think, there’s much more to gain than in loosing not eating pig, or shell fish – it’s more about demonstrating trust in Him; it’s similar to an offering we don’t offer the unclean, so don’t let it be found in you. Leviticus is rich, for some Jewish children age 5 it’s memorized, why? the pure can accept it readily. I don’t linger in stores, I know what I want, where to get it and get out. Water and oil decontaminate; if you feel icky, wash hands or use some oil on hands, “Who can stand upon your holy hill, those with clean hands and pure heart”. Recite this if feel contaminated. When you can ask Him to cleans you from the contamination you saw or heard. I do so in shower, mikveh. He tests us all the time; kosher is a test.

  10. Help, I am trying to download the Power Point on PDF/Kosher Animals but an internal error occurred. Is there any other way to download this information?
