Don't Forget to
This Parashah covers Yitro's advice to Mosheh on creating leadership in the camp, Israel reaching Mount Sinai, and the giving of the ten words (10 Commandments). In my Opinion the most Important portion in the Torah. This is the day of the encounter with our maker and the day of betrothal. This day the Torah was giving to our People as the bill of rights and declaration of independence from the Slave mentality. Learn how it was the MEMRA of YAH that gave the wonderful words of the Torah (Heart) of YHVH. My passion is the Torah of our King and I decided to try and share with you as much as I can. I just love to study the Mitzvots (commandments) that are found in every torah portion, explain, search context, and learn the Heart of our Creator, it's just incredible.
This page includes Torah Portions from multiple years covered by Wisdom in Torah. Each year we covered the Torah from a different perspective so you can explore each Parashah from a different perspective and focus.
- 2010 Portions: Focus on Messianic connections in the Parashah
- ANET Portions: Focus on the ancient Near Eastern cultural context of the Parashah
- Mitzvot Portions: Focus on explaining and exploring the commandments found in the Parashah (in progress)
- 2015 Portions: Revisiting the Parashah looking at the ancient cultural context more in depth with additional areas that have been researched
- Brit Portions: Focus on connecting the Brit Hadashah (New Testament) to the Parashah

I can NEVER find the “link to the blog” that you mention in your teachings:/
How come we cannot see the slides? Thank you, Rico, very much for your labor of love!!! 🙂
Shabbat Shalom! I was wondering if someone could help me out. He keeps mentioning blogs and power points and such, but I have no idea of where to go to read and view these things. Could you please tell me how to find these things, because I am kind of lost in the teachings without them. Thank you.
My question is: Is this Patron, Client, Broker a Roman cultural idea imposed on the Hebrews, the Judeans?
If we are to HONOR Yeshua, does that mean we also WORSHIP HIM? I thought we only WORSHIP the Father, but Christians WORSHIP Jesus too.
Gosh Rico I just got to say what a blessing this is in my life. I really feel like this is the year that YHVH is teaching how to come to Him in an orderly fashion as a daughter and how to make sure my life gives Him honor as my Father, Creator, King and Redeemer. It’s really making me sensitive to my words and actions.
Thank you for your servitude to the Great King, teaching His people His true and awesome ways.
Shabbat shalom to you and your family.

Rico,
This is so good but I was not able to play the 2nd part it ends as you are reading verse 6 in Chapter 20.
Shabbat Shalom Rico!
Todah Rabah for your teachings! I really enjoyed this teaching and I get it!! 😉
Blessings to you, Yolanda, and your sons!!
Todah Rico! As always He has used you to educate, motivate and edify His people! The clarity and understanding of scripture you get when the ANE context is rightly applied truly is “game changing” for lack of a better term. Through you and all of the Talmidim teachings we have watched, listened to and or read, you all have greatly impacted the walk of my entire house and those we fellowship with!
We are learning, verifying and expounding on so much in light of the revelation that it’s all about “kingdom” and not “church” or “religion”! In fact this Torah portion highlights marriage, family, community, covenant and law just to name a few. My light bulb is really going off! LOL!
I am very excited about the new portions forth coming on Leviticus. Currently we’re in the process of identifying lineage and there is some possibility, a hint of one anyway, that points to Levi. I understand that is your lineage. If led to share anything that may help, please don’t hesitate.
May our Father and King continue to baruk you and your household!
His hand is upon you.
Shalom
